There is a great overview of the Well Trained Mind for grades K-4 on their website. The overview can be found under their conference and handouts page. It is called Academic Excellence Grades K-4 by Jessie Wise. It might save you a little time in trying to grasp the book. If you haven’t visited www.welltrainedmind.com, I highly recommend it .
